Are you 100% sure that you know you will go to heaven someday? Can anyone even know for sure?
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life." I John 5:13
God's Word explains His plan for all mankind to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. There are many ideas and philosophies that sound logical, but we must place our belief system in what God tells us in the Bible.
So what does God tell us?

WE ALL ARE SINNERS
"As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:10
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

THE PENALTY FOR OUR SIN
The penalty is two-fold: physical death and spiritual death
The wages or penalty for our sins is not only physical death of our body someday, but spiritual death (separation from God in Hell) as well. Our only hope is that this penalty can be paid in full so we do not suffer the consequences of our sin for all eternity.
- Physical death- Separation of the soul and spirit from our body
"Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." Romans 5:12
"For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23a
- Spiritual death- the soul and spirit separated from God for all eternity
"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." Revelation 20:14
The wages or penalty for our sins is not only physical death of our body someday, but spiritual death (separation from God in Hell) as well. Our only hope is that this penalty can be paid in full so we do not suffer the consequences of our sin for all eternity.
JESUS PAID THE PENALTY FOR OUR SIN
"But God commendeth (showed) His love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
God loves all of us and does not want us to spend eternity separated from Him. The penalty was paid for us through His Son--Jesus Christ, who was sacrificed for our sins. He suffered death and separation from God for us on the cross and rose from the grave three days later. This is the gospel of the death, the burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

HEAVEN IS A FREE GIFT FROM GOD
"but The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23b
There is nothing we can ever do to earn this free gift or deserve it.
" For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
We must receive this gift through faith by calling on Christ to be our Savior.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." Acts 16:31
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be save." Romans 10:13

Simply believe God and His Word, call unto Jesus and ask Him to give you this free gift of salvation.
If you have never received Christ as your Savior you can simply pray this simple prayer:
"Dear Jesus. I know that I am a sinner, and I believe that you died for my sins on the cross. I believe that you rose from the grave to pay for my sins. I accept you today as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving my soul and taking me to Heaven some day."

NOW WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
1. After salvation, you should be baptized as a testimony of your faith in Jesus. Baptism does not save you, but is a picture of you receiving Christ as your Savior. Matthew 28:19
2. Get involved in a Bible believing church. Hebrews 10:25-26
3. Grow in your faith by studying the Bible. 2 Timothy 2:15
